WATER HYACINTH
Eichornia crassipes Ballon-like petals, that allow the plant to float. Flowers are delicate pale bluish to lilac.
These plants need the water to be at least 75 degrees both DAY and NIGHT in order to live and bloom.
Tropical plants will not survive the cold temperatures, if you live in zone 7 and below you might consider them annuals.
